Dr. Lucas received his doctorate of chiropractic from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1999. He opened his own practice in 2002 in Paramount, moved to Inglewood in 2009, and ended up in his current location in Long Beach in 2010.
He has been the team doctor for the LA Matadors WBC 2011 World Series of Boxing; for boxer Abnar Mars, Golden Boy 2011-2012; and for Ladies Arena Football (2012). Currently he is the chiropractor for Lucas Hurell and Justin Maxwell of the Houston Astro's; Justin Turner of the New York Yankees; Jonathan Fanannae of the Cincinnati Bengals; and Carlos Malina, Golden Boy 2012.
